Ok folks, we're nearing the end of this fiasco, so I thought we could look back and say what a success this trip truely was or what a failure it truely was and how touched we all were by MEdiana's mere underarm whiff so close to our hearts... or seeing Floppy Frodo spew his guts out So, What do you think this trip has achieved? ANDREW DENTON: Yes. What did... When you first met, what did you see in each other? CROWN PRINCE FREDERIK: What did we see in each other? We saw... Well, it's a bit hard. It's a bit blurry, in a way, because it was just after the Olympics had started and it was one of those evenings where...

Honestly, was there any 'big' reaction to the tour? Kyle is getting the headlines more than Mary.

Well....A dent in the Australian coffers. An increase in carbon footprints. A chance for Margrethe &family to be away from their dream dumb team. A chance for all Royal Dishers to dish together as a big, happy, community (Thanksgiving holiday in the States= lots of sappy family warmth from LIS)

Yeah, we love Kylie - our own singing budgie. Of late, some articles about her have focused on her right to have her own face filled with whatever she chooses. I agree. It's her face and she's a trooper. Aussies will claim and adore their own. And even plenty who aren't their own - Russell Crowe for one.
However I did also notice Nigella Lawson and I reckon that that is where Kylie has sourced her filler. Kylie looks to have squeezed half of Nigella's face into her own. Nigella is all the poorer for it. She has 'blanded' herself into Jools Oliver's sister while Kylie still sits on her perch singing ... her right eyebrow flying free on it's own but it has every right to soar as high as it pleases.
Compared to Kylie news I observe a little more media space being afforded to Mary and Fred. Mostly frivolous banter at the end of every TV News. I would have enjoyed seeing more detail, a LOT more detail, about the Danish products and technology. Television coverage could have treated us Aussies as people with a brain capacity capable of soaking in much more than smiles, waves, latest fashion and little girls being overwhelmed at handing over a posy. There is too much Mary coverage and not enough Danish Green Delegation coverage. Newspapers could have printed more and I think many Aussies would have been receptive to the Danish innovative energy practises that they brought here. Does this show how retarded our media is?? How easily duped by a pretty face?? Or poor organisation on the part of the PR team handling the Green Delegation?? Hopefully the business sector got to soak up some of that information at the official displays. The world is calling out for serious evaluation on such products.

Yeah, we love Kylie - our own singing budgie.
Kylie has worked a good part of 20 years - if she receives any accolades she deserves it.
Of late, some articles about her have focused on her right to have her own face filled with whatever she chooses. However I did also notice Nigella Lawson and I reckon that that is where Kylie has sourced her filler.
From whom has mary sourced her copious amounts of filler?
Kylie looks to have squeezed half of Nigella's face into her own.
Same question re mary?
Kylie still sits on her perch singing ...
She works for her money.
her right eyebrow flying free on it's own but it has every right to soar as high as it pleases.
as mary's wonky eye and wonky foot?
Compared to Kylie news I observe a little more media space being afforded to Mary and Fred.
It's called confirmation bias.
Mostly frivolous banter at the end of every TV News.
Frivolous banter for a frivolous person.
Television coverage could have treated us Aussies as people with a brain capacity capable of soaking in much more than smiles, waves, latest fashion and little girls being overwhelmed at handing over a posy.
All pre-staged by mary and her PR team - its what mary wants and needs.
There is too much Mary coverage and not enough Danish Green Delegation coverage.
Again, pre-staged by mary.
Does this show how retarded our media is?? How easily duped by a pretty face??
A face that has undergone vast amounts of cosmetic surgery and injected with vast amounts of filler - have you seen pre fred photos of mary?
Or poor organisation on the part of the PR team handling the Green Delegation??
It's just the way mary wants it and likes it.

Below is a post by pocahontas posted in another thread but i think it superbly sums up what i was trying to ineffectively say, and its a very apt response to the above post. I don't like it when someone who has invested a lot of time and effort into carving a career is mocked to make a lazy, common person like mary appear acceptable. Real celebrities like Lady Gaga and Beyonce have carefully crafted images too. But in addition to that, they have talent and they got to where they are on their own sweat. You take away their carefully crafted image and they still have their talent and their body of work. Mary de-values Fred, but without him, she wouldn't be royal which takes away her only distinction and her carefully crafted image would disintegrate. What's left? No talent. No body of work. Nothing.

Maybe Danish technology can’t afford to be looked at too closely. The greenies are on the case of wind turbines in Tas seems, they are destroying some of the birdlife by ripping them to pieces, not to mention the hideous contraptions on the Marine board building firstly they self destructed in a mild breeze now a year latter supposed to be replaced with new super ones still cant handle more than a brisk breeze and screech like banshees, all those dollars to provide 10% of electricity to a very modest size building. What exactly has this business delegation have to offer, those chepo cookies are already in the shops all dressed up for Christmas, lots of people buy them because the tin looks good very few eat the contents. Carlsberg beer? well hubby won a carton of this at his club, drank two and gave the rest to a friend to take to a bush BBQ guys weekend, he mentioned later that his friends were only too glad to drink “cheap euro swill” when they ran out of their regular brand. The Mary effect on pig meat exported to Aussie, well the pork producers are fighting back about that, there’s a video on ACA site, seems their lobbying the government to stop the import of cheap pork. perhaps. Mary may change their minds??? Lurpak butter, well I’ve tried that when it’s been on special, nothing much, our own local product is much better. But Cloaked is right I wouldn’t mind knowing what else they have on offer, but yes they look like they have been duped into contributing towards Mary and entourage’s expenses along with the Aussie Government.

I would be very interested to know how the portrait unveiling and hospital trip reflect positively on the Green Delegation?

I must say that Mary's levels of obnoxiousness have far exceeded my expectations, so I guess that is what this tour achieved. Has given my my favourite obnoxious Mary moment(s).

i agree with DA and Barrie. She is more obnoxious than ever. That is what this trip has achieved. But the best part for me was the revelation of the Starmakers video that proved she attended, and AFTER she met Freddles. Loved that part of the trip. Now I just wish EB would pick up on it and headline it in the Danish press. Call her out on it, dammit!! Where is their spine anyway?
