I don't like the white dress on her very much, but really the multicolored coat is great.

Silvia is doing well.

Going to be honest here, I don't care if she's had surgery on them or not, but if my girls look that good in dresses at almost 76 I'll be a very happy bunny indeed!

If I'm being perfectly honest, if they looked like that now in dresses I'd be happy (I'm 24!)!!

Happy Birthday!
If only she hadn't messed around so much with her face, because otherwise she's a really stylish woman.

It seems that Sylvia has been the epitome of class and discretion as well as duty all this time. Is she popular with Swedes? Respected?

When Silvia came to Sweden she caused Silvia fever. She was charming, beautiful, talented, "exotic", and had a good feeling and understanding for her new country. She was ambitious.
But after numerous scandals, like her husband's serial cheating, the press writing about her father's membership in the nazi party during WW II, and ofcourse the way she handled all of that, glossing it over,  she seemed to fade away, and so did her relevance and popularity. These day I don't follow SRF much, but as a "fellow human being"  Roll Eyes one can hope things will somehow work out for them in the end.

What she did about her father being associated with the nazis?

If I remember correctly she said he thought there was hope for Germany again. He couldn't know what was going to happen.
Silvia investigated the case herself, and after having gathered extensive information, she basically said she was ok with it all, and that her father was no bad guy, no matter what the media wrote.
That was a really bad/disturbing "defense" from her.
