What she did about her father being associated with the nazis?

If I remember correctly she said he thought there was hope for Germany again. He couldn't know what was going to happen.
Silvia investigated the case herself, and after having gathered extensive information, she basically said she was ok with it all, and that her father was no bad guy, no matter what the media wrote.
That was a really bad/disturbing "defense" from her.
Thank you! I had no idea about Silvia's reaction but I remember that Vic had been attacked by the press a few years back, because she hadn't mention anything about her grandfather in a memorial service about the victims of 2nd ww, but I cannot remember further details.

Silvia is always so elegant. If only her daughter would take note.

Neck down she is always dressed greatly .... I don't particularly like her hair colour (too artificial) and the joker face is unfortunate, but then it has been worse.

Old video of Queen Silvia  (from 1997) speaking in Portuguese and talking about her relationship with Brazil, being a mother and nationality. Unfortunately without subtitles.

Silvia's 86-year-old brother Walter Sommerlath is now living at Drottningholm Palace.

Walter has previously been living in Italy and in Paris but has now moved in to Victoria's old flat at Drottningholm, together with his son Patrick Sommerlath and Patrick's daughters Chloe and Anais.

Queen Silvia's brother Walther Sommerlath is dead, the court states.
Walther Sommerlath fell asleep quietly during Friday night at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge after a period of illness. He was 86 years old.
- I and my family feel great sadness and longing for my brother Walther, says HM the Queen.

Oh no, that's very sad.
I guess that's why he moved in the palace.
At least, he had excellent health care, I hope this partly keeps Sylvia strong.

Silvia made a speech in honour of the annual Childhood Gala. This is the first time it has been digital.
