Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein won Sunday DM-gold in the dressage horse Digby.
Nathalie has won at the Danish Dressage Championships this weekend (3.6.2012). Together with her horse Digby she outdid their personal best, so she might turn up in London for the Olympics
Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein has high praise for his horse, Digby, after the victory at the championship in dressage. The pair rode to the music from the musical West Side Story victory in the so-called freestyle. Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein are extremely pleased with Digbys
- Digby is improving day by day in this championship. Yesterday we beat our personal best in Specialen, and today we beat our personal best in the freestyle, says Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein in a statement.
- Digby was fantastic walking, and everything went up in a higher unity. This is my third Danish championship on three different horses, two of which are homegrown, so I'm very happy, she says.
Joachim Christian Thomsen won the silver horse Akeem Foldager while Sidsel M. Johansen took bronze at Schianto. The Danish dressage rider is in a crucial stage in relation to selection for the Olympics in London. On 6 July will be added the names of the three dressurekvipager and a reserve to be included for the Games in London. Denmark won bronze in the team competition at the last Olympics four years ago.
