I don't like how once she gets married she gets a birkin in a matter of days the fact that she comes from a non western poor country makes the brand whoring even more obnoxious
I'm not sure how loaded the Bhutanese royals are, but I agree with you since if the nation's GDP is 2000 USD per capita, it's a little controversial to immediately splurge on multiple items that would easily add up to 50~60k USD or so (counting her Chanel suits and brand name high heels), giant engagement ring, watch, Birkin, couture gowns, etc. Sure, she's young, and maybe they didn't want to seem too simply dressed in front of royals of developed countries, but if I were a Bhutanese citizen, I would be thoroughly shocked with her expensive taste.
Kate Middleton's high street shopping earned her accolade for a good reason (again, not that I like her one bit, but she is slightly more restrained with luxury brands when compared to Jetsun).
