Nope, we as the taxpayers pay for it all. It's grand. Ugh.

Of course he's bringing the whole damn family. After all, Ivanka has already acknowledged that she lusts for her ``princess moments.''

Maybe this is a dumb question, but why is Trump dictating who gets invited to an event in England?

It's not a dumb question, it's a totally valid question!  I have no idea other than as usual it's all about him and our "royal clampett family".  He's certainly not coming for the exalted purpose of the gathering which is D-Day, a day when young men gave their lives so the rest of us could live free not under Hitler's boot.  It's so appalling to think of how this will be a circus not a dignified ceremony and the US represented by this man who  is friends with so many neo-nazi's like Bannon and Miller.  I feel sick.   (I think it shows how seriously he takes this, in that he's planned the trip around playing golf on the way home).

I'm very curious about the protocol.  I can't imagine calling up the palace and saying, hey there btw there will be at least 10 more for dinner, hope that doesn't mess up the seating plan.  Oh to be a fly on the wall and see Q2 face when she was told....oh how priceless that would be!   Can you imagine  Icecream   I know she's too polite but couldn't she just say no can do?  I'm not sure I understand where they are staying either, is it at Buckingham Palace or US Embassy, is there a dt hotel in London?

It makes me furious to think of my taxpaying money paying for this farce but the British having to cough up for security (I can only imagine it would be outrageous without the orange monster in the mix) is choking I'm sure.  I would apologize but I didn't vote for him, so I'll send sympathy instead.

Knowing how Anne doesn't suffer fools gladly, I  can only hope she's seated next to him at some point. ROFL

I did read today that, as BP will be undergoing some conveniently scheduled renovations, the Trump entourage will unfortunately have to stay elsewhere.

Oh well, maybe Prince Philip can take them for a drive somewhere nice.

I see he's being escorted somewhere by Randy Andy, they've got a lot in common including their pedophile friend  Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew regularly hosts the visiting Head of State on their visit to Westminster Abbey to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior there.

Speaking of Donald and Melania why so many british commentators in tabloids love and call Melania classy. She posed provocatively and half naked in mags, married a rich guy 30-years her senior but she is praised while certain other American girl is called all kinds of names.

Why double standards?

perhaps the Queen and her entire family can claim they all came down with bone spurs and will be unable to attend the State Dinner, but the Queens dogs will attend and it would be a good thing if some homeless people got a lovely dinner with the Bully-Nazi-Dictator-Draft Dodger trump.

What does that have to do with the Queen or her husband?

I can't stand him but can we talk about something else? The visit isn't even about him, it is to commemorate D-Day as well as UK/US relations. We are each other's closest ally. RD isn't for politics.
