She looks adorable! The trim on that red coat is so festive, and that gorgeous scarf!

I just love the Queen so much. I know she isn't perfect and she's made some poor choices, but I just really admire her and I hate to think there is a day coming where she is not my queen.

I think it was for all us dishers. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. https://people.com/royals...-accidental-tweet-thanks/On Thursday, an odd tweet appeared on the official Twitter for Queen Elizabeth and her family members. It was live for just six minutes before it was deleted, but Gert's Royals captured a screenshot of the accidental post before it was gone.
What did the tweet read? "Thanks." https://twitter.com/Gerts...ccidental-tweet-thanks%2F

I admire her too. As you say, she's not perfect and has made some poor choices, but somehow that makes her more endearing (except when considered in a legal context as in the case of Andrew). Royals are presumed to be perfect and flawless, and for the Queen to have these episodes of poor judgement makes her more human and relatable. I was thinking the other day how in just ten years' time we will probably have a new monarch. In UK schools you learn that the Elizabethan and Victorian time were periods of greatness, and we recognise those periods by the name of the monarch at the time. I can fully imagine that in centuries from now, students will study the second Elizabethan age in schools with the same revere. And I, for one, am proud to have lived during that time period.

There is probably nothing more to it than someone being on the wrong text or webpage. I accidently told my boss once that if he wanted to eat chicken for dinner, he needed to go shopping. He replied rather deadpan with "I know".. I only found out that I texted the wrong person, when hubby came home without said chicken...

Of course she is not perfect, nobody is. On the other hand, she is a great person and an even greater monarch. She is an example for me.

All health matters are usually kept confidential, but knowing her stamp of approval goes a long way, particularly with older persons, they've made this public. Proving that even at 94 and 99, they are still able to change, especially when something is this important. Good on them both.

I agree that it is better to inform the public that they received the vaccine.

Almost 70 years ago, she let it be known that her children have been vaccinated against the polio.
I remember reading that her Commonwealth Tour of 1953 and 1954 was interrupted at least once by Polio in Australia. It was smart move then to urge people to get their children vaccinated, and it still is a wise move to help promote the Covid vaccination.

I hope they are well after the second, I've known so many who have gotten that second dose and they got terribly sick. Modern or Pfizer though, not Oxford's.
I'm waiting for Oxford's or Johnson & Johnson's, for even though I had it I assume I must have a vaccine if we are allowed to return to normal life like entering shops, restaurants, and go traveling.
