C&C donít look their usual upbeat selves. Camilla hung back while the Queen advanced to meet the Johnsons, actually turning around to talk to William and Catherine. Charles had to get her attention to start following the Queen.

Kate's coat looks like one of her christening ones - perhaps Louis?

I love the picture of the Queen with the world leaders!

"'Are you supposed to look as if you're enjoying yourself?': The Queen's quip prompts chuckles from world leaders as she takes centre stage during photo call as Britain rolls out the red carpet for the G7 summit
* Britain is seeking to dazzle the world's most powerful with a royal charm offensive at Eden Project tonight
* And the 95-year-old Monarch's natural wit appears to have already won the leaders over during a photocall
* While leaders posed for photographers, Queen asked: 'Are you supposed to look as if you're enjoying it?'
* Prime Minister Boris Johnson jokingly replied: 'We have been enjoying ourselves, despite appearances'"

These photos make me so happy! Itís wonderful to see Her Majesty looking so healthy and enjoying herself. Everyone seems delighted to be with her - itís probably still a bit of novelty even if youíre the US president!

I agree. That is how you conduct yourself on the world stage. No need for PR mitigation that way.

I know she was in the middle but you can still see them all converge on TQ wanting a moment with her. That's what it's all about.

You can just see how revitalized the queen is by getting back to her social engagements. She really does get energy from other people and her encounters. A joy to see her laughing and looking quite summery.

Thank you Future Crayon for the brooch ID  Star

But what da f**k is going on with Trudeau.  He looks like a member of a '90s grunge band.  I expected Boris's uncombed thatch, but not Justin's.

I like the fact that a rose was named after Prince Philip.
I checked sources and recalled that there had been a Duke of Edinburgh Rose introduced in the United Kingdom in 1868. It was named after Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh.

If you look at the hilt, she does have it right side up. It is a rather strangely shaped sword to be using for cake cutting.

That's a lovely rose. An opulent shade of dark pink, with lighter shading in the center.
