But less fun when your boss tells you to get Pippa's chewing gum out of the Duchess of Cambridge's weave, or that it's time to muck out Camilla.
I wonder if those duties are outlined in the interview.

HM popped down to Ascot on Saturday to give out the prizes at the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2012

I wonder if the DoE stayed at home, and if any other royals attended with her.  Prince Harry was spotted at this event last year.

QEII looks really happy to be presenting that silver plate to the jockey.
I love her hat.  The detail and colour is stunning on her.
Queen Elizabeth has been wearing the most gorgeous colours of late - warm orange and pink etc.

I only saw pictures of QEII at the races that day with Sir John and Lady Carolyn Warren.
I don't know if any other Royal accompanied her.

I agree.  Although she did look a bit tentative coming down the steps of the platform after her speech.  I wonder if a handrail would be a good idea.  I try to remember what the Queen Mother was like at 86.  She tottered around a fair bit.  In her 90s, the Queen urged her to use a walking stick, and then two of them.  I think we'll see the Queen using one within a few years, which is a good thing, if it helps her get around safely and comfortably.  We need her to live as long as she can.

Be fair now, she is only 56 years older than Kate, and those four years make a huge difference. Spiteful Crap  Dead

This is news about photos:

http://www.dailymail.co.u...d-posing-photographs.html

Palace PR have got it wrong yet again.  Lovely idea for Queen and Duke to pose with groups of staff, totalling 500 people, so the staff could have a unique Jubilee memento.

Not such a bright idea to require these low paid staff to PAY 10 pound for a small photo or 40 for a large one.

I worked out the cost of giving them a large photo each as a one-off gift is about 20k - (hardly equates to the photographers fee either).

Hrmm... 49k for a necklace, but let's charge the staff for their gift instead of finding less than half of that out of the millions one has.

What a cheek! It's not a gift if the staff hv to pay. It's a souvenir.

Monty the corgi, who appeared with the Queen and Daniel Craig in the James Bond clip Olympic opening ceremonies, has died at Balmoral.  He also had a dust up with Princess Bea's terrier Max while the family enjoyed a summer break recently.  Monty is expected to be buried at the pet cemetery on the estate.  Queen Victoria started the ceremony on the 19th C.
