According to a Lofotposten tip, the Crown Prince landed at the airport in Leknes on Monday, and was carrying ski equipment.

On Thursday, Crown Prince Haakon Magnus will conduct the opening of Global Dignity Days at the West Lofoten high school, which Lofotposten also previously discussed. The Crown Prince will during the visit also lead the conversation in one of the classes ^^^^.

But with skiers in his baggage the heir to the throne has probably used the day after the meeting to a intense off-piste run in the stunning Lofoten Alps. According to SEOGHØR.NO, Crown Haakon has experienced a great time in the same mountainous areas in previous years along with a fellow gang from Oslo. Haakon has since traveled incognito, and only a select few have been aware of his presence in the Lofoten mountains. Top Trained bodyguards from the police are also included the crown prince's company - skiing.

Ski enthusiasts: Here is Crown Prince Haakon of skiing during the Easter holiday in the Sikkelsdalsetra in 2002.

But first Kronrpinsen will attend the opening of Global Dignity Days at the West Lofoten high school. Haakon himself was one of the founders of Global Dignity in 2006. The organization aims to promote the dignity-based leadership, stimulate a global conversation about the dignity and engage young people in the sense of dignity.

I really like that about Haakon - he does a lot around Norway! He and Felipe are really growing into statesmen. Maybe they can give Derf some lessons?

Skiing with Marius, interview with Haakon at about 2 minutes in, in Norwegian though. Talks about the nice view, how he likes 'telemark' as his style of skiing downhill and how he would like to be able to ski like that more often. Then he shows some skills down the mountain.
