Today he will have meetings on skype with The Norwegian Home Guard which is a rapid mobilisation force in the Norwegian military, the force has now been deployed to Oslo airport to help with passenger controll after some really bad examples f people standing crammed together waiting to leave incomming planes.

He will also have a skype meeting with he Norwegian Child Welfare Services which are the public agencies responsible for child abuse in Norway. There is serious concern now that schools are closed that many children are at home all day with the parents that can not take care of them properly, or are violent, abusive, alcholic, drug addicts etc. Many children have their free space in school, kindergarden and after school activites, and when all this is taken away there is grave concern for what may happen to the weakest in society.

Dont know why Mette-Marit could not join theese conversations, everyone understands she must be isolated, but a skype meeting from home now and then, surly would be OK.

Today, Haakon started a three-day walk on the historic Refugee Trail between Oslo and Sweden to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Norway

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince continues his journey along the Refugee Route.

About 50,000 people fled from Norway to Sweden during World War II. Many were helped by locally known border guides and their helpers to get safely across the border. The Germans knew that refugees were being helped across the border and were patrolling the border areas. There are no exact figures, but we know for sure that 29 guides lost their lives - some in service, some in execution and some in captivity. Among 55 registered helpers, eight were executed and 47 died in captivity or when arrested.

At Nordre Hallangen in Aurskog Høland, a memorial stone has been erected to the border guards, couriers and helpers. It commemorates all those who risked their lives to help others to safety during World War II.

Crown Prince Haakon laid flowers at the memorial stone today.

She probably is resting.  Mette-Marit has chronic pulmonary fibrosis that leaves her exhausted, doesn't she?  I wouldn't expect her to undertake a walk like this.
