Norwegian agricultural technology is on its way out into the world.
The world needs more food produced in a sustainable way. On Thursday, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon got to meet three of the country's leading companies in agricultural technology and the green export industry. And he got to try his hand at indoor farming.

At Langhus in Nordre Follo, the Crown Prince, together with Sandra Borch, Minister for Agriculture and Food, met the local companies Kilter and DAT (Dimensions Agri Technologies) as well as Digifarm from Hamar. The companies presented solutions for precision farming and less use of pesticides.

In the end of the finale episode they meet for pizza in Oslo and Haakon is asked if he is still eating vegeterian food only, he says yes, then the host says but you love bacon so much, ans he agrees.

Haakon was in Bergen yesterday. He visited the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research, the food research institute Nofima, and attended the opening of the climate festival "Varmere Våtere Villere"

Haakon attended the opening of the new Cousins café in Oslo. Cousins is a small ice cream factory that employs young people with a refugee background.

Aaaaahhh another victim of the shoe spell

Seriously that is because of his PR and his personality.

In most of his engagements you see an average and plain, but friendly and approachable man visiting different causes. Some PR representative got the idea to dress him in different work clothes for his PR pictures because frankly otherwise they could have stopped sending him anwhere five years ago and just released the same pictures over and over again - nobody would notice.

Therefore the shoes are -sadly- the most exciting parts about them, his little bit of rebellion while he is functioning within his means otherwise. These shoes are so off and off that they give him a little bit of character he is lacking otherwise. I am team brown shoes. They are a bit like MM -nobody understands why he picked her and the shoes (okay, a bit far fetched) but it shows a bit of an otherwise hidden personality.

Haakon visited the Thor Heyerdahl Upper Secondary School yesterday. This week the school is hosting the National Skills Competition in carpentry where eight young carpenters will compete for the title of Norwegian champion

This week, leading climate scientists are gathering in Bergen for One Ocean Week to discuss how climate change is affecting the ocean. The conference began yesterday and was opened by Haakon.

Haakon also visited the research vessel Prinsesse Ingrid Alexandra in Byfjorden and joined the Marine Research Institute in search of microplastics in the fjord
