It reminds me of that story when they asked a theatre critic what did he think of the play?>

Oh wonderful. great acting. simply splending acting. great costumes...

Except all the seats face the stage.

I absolute HATE the square toe sandal style that is coming back in fashion!!!  Real mad  (tiny glimpse of it on the bride's feet)

Regarding the dress, it's hard see taking credit for "designing" something that simple and basic...

It’s too basic for my tastes.

Exactly.  There's simple-elegant, like Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's gown.  And then there's basic, like this gown.  Polar opposites.

i don't know why pauline continues this facade of being a designer.  she's horrible.  why is it that every piece she designs looks really cheap and not made well.  amazing what one can do w/ lots of money/semi-fame.  any other person wouldn't even get this far... Ranting

Why is the hem so puckered?

Jumping  no kidding!  She's awful, no imagination, no style and no talent.  WHY she gets any attention other than her name is baffling.  She puts the UG in ugly.  Remember that denim contraption she called a dress LOL

That puckering is called bad tailoring, just what you'd expect from a hack

If I was the bride, I would have been very upset.   But then, I know good stitching from bad.   I sometimes wonder if the "young folks" today even care, because they simply aren't familiar with well-made, classic clothing.   Look at Pauline.   Her maternal grandmother was a style icon, wore beautiful, tasteful and well-made clothing, and Pauline seems to have taken nothing from being familiar, I presume, with that!
