I was lucky to have been a young mom - Crown Princess Mette-Marit thank Marius that she is up to date on the music front.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit (38) uses a lot of time working with charities devoted to youth through the Kronprinsparets funds. Funds, which has existed for ten years, working closely with the four projects Pøbel project, Street Academy, Run for Life and Work Institute Oslo, and Mette-Marit is constantly impressed by the many young people she meets.

To Dagbladet the Crown Princess said that she was allowed to enjoy much hip-hop tunes from Street Academy of Art at University Square in Oslo on the Crown Prince couple's wedding day 25 last August.
- I've listened to hip hop for a long time, I'm very passionate about it and think it's great fun. To see the Norwegian talents, who are so quick to run with music and dance, it was much fun. We also had dinner at Skaugum on Monday where someone from Street Academy of Art was there to sing for us, and they are just incredibly talented. We were just absolutely "flabbergasted" by the whole gang, says Mette-Marit told Dagbladet.

Crown Princess thanks her son Marius (15) that she keeps up to date with the latest on the music front.
- I feel so lucky to be Marius' mom and get even more insight into what is hip now. I was lucky to be a mom early, so I've been following it for a long time, says Crown Princess Mette-Marit told Dagbladet.

Although Mette-Marit lives a royal life today, she grew up under more normal circumstances. She doesn't think that her non-royal background affects her credibility when meeting with young people.
- I think that these young people here don't remember the time when I was not Princess. Time goes. It's the strangest. The story is so imprinted on us. It's a funny thing with perspectives, that are completely different. I have thought about that often, says Mette-Marit told Dagbladet.

We can count her actual royal work events on one hand, and the other 'important work events'...ahem...*cough* *cough* on our collective hands.

Ähm... to what work exactly?

It's interesting that we see her cycling to work, but not the work part itself.

I personally hate it when people check their I Phones every two minutes - even when cycling.

Thanks PeDe  Smiley  Star
I also hate it when people constantly check their phone, but what annoys me much more is that she does it while cycling. It's quite dangerous and a bad example.
Anyway, everybody seemed to have quite a lot of fun and maybe they can inspire at least some people to use the bike more when possible.  Thumb up
