They are focusing on the mainline because that is where the crown sits.

HOwever, based on previous years, it is obvious that the NRF understand that they are in a fight for their reputation and longevity so they have decided to minimize the spares i.e. Auntie Astrid, Martha Louise and Sverre Magnus; so that the spectre of the bad eggs - ML, Sham man and the woman beater can be ignored.

It won't work but they will try nonetheless.

I hinted to this in the royal news thread before I saw this one. Maybe Sverre is wise to it all and wants no part? He didn't mention his brother during his 18th birthday interviews, unlike IA's honorable mention of him in her speech. Growing up, maybe Marius enlightened his younger brother as to his views on women and SM realised how atrocious they were? They've never seemed close siblings and he looked downright miserable at the ballet.

Maybe he's realising what's going on and doesn't want a part in the circus? He clearly loves his grandparents and I imagine would be protective of them?

I theorise because years ago I remember discussions on here about a young teen SM appearing to have a meltdown/tantrum whilst on holiday and some speculation that maybe he would be the problem child of the NRF. Yet, on the contrary, he appears mature, fun, humble and quite wise.
