Like the clothes - hate the hair!

MM has shown recently at her daughter's confirmation that she can look fabulous. I think it's most often the fact of not wanting/bothering.

It outfit is ok, nothing special. The hair is  Thumb down

I am a details person, so what really bothered me is that she chose to wear a white/beige bra beneath the very thin black sweater.
It's very visible in one of the pics, where a flash was on her.
Why would you do that? Black bra beneath black clothes. Fullstop.

And the hair is really ... platinum damaged.
She would look fab and 5 years younger if she would go for some honey blonde, like 5 shades darker than now.
Well a black bra under a black knit Sweater has proved to be almost invisible and see-through in camera lights. Cool So a nude bra might have been the best choice..

I can't stand that outfit. But it's more interesting than the awful prairie dresses she wears. Her hair is terrible there. Has anyone heard her speak English? Does she speak other languages, too, like German?

I think someone here mentioned that she speaks excellent English.

German, clearly well practiced and i dont think she is close to fluent but i guess this was when she bothered to make an effort

She also made a speech in French in Paris a couple of years ago but i guess it was practiced like the german speech

Judging her German based on this clip alone, sheís probably on the same level as me. I can read aloud and I understand some but I have next to no active vocabulary. I was taught 5 years in school but I havenít used it much since then so itís rusty, at best.

Iíd say thatís very normal for Scandinavians. At least for Danes.

I've listened to her speech now. Basically she has some accent (of course!) and pronounces some words differently than they're in German (f.e. stand rather than schtand=st pronounced a bit like in Shetland Islands). Or mixes up words/languages f.e. says "helpen" instead of "helfen."

She seems nervous at first, but gets better and more confident with time.

I guess MM wrote the speech herself? If so it's really good. There're some grammar mistakes German native speakers will instantly notice (like: in der Augen vieler Kinder...rather than: in den Augen...), but otherwise she has a good command on German.

Her German is clearly rehearsed, she makes pronounciation mistakes in simple words. I believe though her English is great and at least she made an efford to speak German ....

Wow long time ago, considering that Westerwelle has been dead for 3 and a half years alreadyÖ She made a good impression and her speech was a bit difficult to understand but not bad at all. She also looked very good too.

At least they, I say they because Haakon was involved as well, were open and transparent about how many, when and where these meetings took place as they could have pulled what that certain British prince did. At least I hope they were being honest that this was how many times they met or else it's going to be open season if journalists find out anything else.
