what an unfortunate back photograph on that woman with brown pants  what are those semi-circles on MMs feet. they are just above the back of her shoes. It looks like sole reinforced gusset in stockings that you make sure stays in your shoe  she looks like such a slovenly dresser and pays no attention to little things... G  |

Call me a soft-hearted old sugar, but I like seeing M-M about.
I've never been able to warm to M-M for some reason. I think there were too many times in the past that she used her position as Crown Princess to gratify herself rather than work for Norway. Plus even before her diagnosis with pulmonary fibrosis she was a lazy worker. For me she's a person who'll do something nice, some good work, and so one says: "oh, she's not bad," but then the next day or week there's something less pleasant being reported. There's no consistency. |

She is just not that interesting or has a magnetic personality or even many interests. She's a well cared for posh lady. I do admire her reading and book initiatives. She's probably a good mom and that may have been her only aspiration ever, which worked for Haakon. But she has come across as lazy over the years, for sure.

When she does get out there, she’s not bad and she and Haakon seem like good parents. I don’t get why she isn’t out more and it can’t just be “lazy” or because the pulmonary fibrosis has prevented it. Some Royal families are very engaged but the Norwegian family seem so much more laidback.

Same here. When she came on the scene I was rooting for her - this was such a lovely love story. But well .... Especially if you have been a vulnerable group in society, you should help this group later once fortune has kissed you. |
