Crown Princess Mette - Marit had video meetings with representatives of the Norwegian Library Association, the Nynorsk Cultural Centre, the Førde Traditional World Music Festival, the Oslo International Church Music Festival & the Risør Festival of Chamber Music.

This morning HRH Crown Princess Mette Marit attended the Panel discussion "Les for livet" with the Norwegian Library Association's Library Meeting at the Clarion Hotel in Oslo.

Before the weekend Mette-Marit vistited Asker kommune and the mayor Lene Conradi to hear about how the municipality works to enssure the rights and needs of the many ukrainian refugees comming. How the cooperate with the volounteers and business to help get them work.
She also met two siblings, one who already lived in Norway and one who has come after the war, their parents and many friends are still in Ukraine.

Today she and Haakon was supposed to be in Kirkenes in the North, which borders Russia to hear about the tenasions in the area and how it is to live som close to an invading country. The palace has said she has had to cancel because she is sick, no further details. Haakon travels alone to Kirkenes.

She never disappoints.  :hugesmile:Well, she hardly ever disappoints. After one good outfit she turns up in this monstrosity. I wonder where she got these glasses. They are beyond ugly. Nobody, not even 80+ year old ladies would wear something similar today. And the outfit ... this is unbelievable. But it has come to a stage that the NRF should somehow intervene, Sonja and Harald always look very professional and then there is Hakoon with his brown shoes and MM ....

She "forgot" to close that second button or her arms are too fat for that blouse.. either way she is a lost case.

I wouldn't be so hard on her, if was engagement in what she is doing.

She has neither charisma nor is she comitted to anything (except reading). And those outfits are highly unprofessional. Every company representative turning up in that attire would receive at least a warning. It is a joke especially she flew to the USA a few times to attend some designer parties and stuff if I recall right.
