You know, that’s precisely how I’ve always thought they did things. That Alex had some sort of bonus aunt status to Henrik and Athena.

The photo above was taken some hours before the blood clot in his brain .... if you look at his eyes closely, they are totally blood-veined ... I think he drank too much wine that day...

July 17
Marc Gerrigues organized a boat trip for the neighboring royal family, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and the four children, with a picnic and a swim in the Lot:

- "It shocks me. He seemed to be doing well on the boat trip. It's very sad," he said"

- "It's not only the locals who are worried about the prince. Many Danish tourists go up to Cayx Castle and wish him the best".

The Cayx Nautical Base. Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and their four children often come there when they spend the summer at the castle, located just 650 meters from the place.

- "All the staff at the La Base Nautique restaurant wish Prince Joachim a very good recovery", writes barman and waiter Jeremy Vidil "

The Danish prince is a popular person in the Cahors region, where everyone is shocked that Joachim, at only 51, has been hit so hard for his health. The locals are incredibly saddened by Joachim's situation, and of course they also think of his wife Princess Marie and the children.

- "It's so sad", it rings out again and again from the people of Cahors according to the local Cahors media, and many at the same time send warm greetings to the prince and his family.

Another nice photo of Marie & Joachim from before his hospitalization.

They say that he recovered and is back to work at the Danish Embassy in Paris.

He looks fine, but lost weight, I think, and his mouth is a bit twisted :

I'm happy to see him better, much better !

Glad to see him recover well. He is not old and kids with Marie are still small.

It takes time to recover from a brain injury.   I went thru similar with a relative.  It’s a very good sign that he’s working against. I think he looks great considering everything he’s been through.

As they live in France now, French press talks much more about Jokes and Marie :
