The Belgian Royal Palace does not usually announce events in advance, so we do not know which events, if any, were missed. It seems likely they would have restarted working earlier this month if they hadn't had to quarantine

Yesterday, the Belgian RF (minus Gabriel, who has started school in England) took part in car-Free Sunday with a trip around Ghent

This is a royal family who managed to really improve their image during the Corona time. They do very solid, down to earth outings and their kids seem just so normal (thinking of posing Alexia in Netherlands here) and likeable.

Eleonore is 13 so it is great that she does not behave like Alexia of the Netherlands as well as other teenage girls.

The are pleasant, not in this look-at-me attitude and they have the right balance between normal and royal. They did not hit the nails for one decade but in the past two years they are just brilliant while other royal families are simply tone-deaf.

I do love this family and their wholesome earnestness!  The oldest son isn't there because he's studying Economics in England, correct?
