Not dumb at all, Lynda. The Duke of Ediburgh aka Prince Phillip.

He's expected to miss the Thanksgiving service tomorrow and will be in the hospital for 'precautionary measures.'

Bladder infections are quite serious in the elderly. So crummy.

I can't find it on the news anywhere...  This is sure to dampen the mood for family members although I do expect them to be present at tonight's concert. Sad I am not sure however if the Queen will be there.

What am I saying...  Crazy Of course HM will be there! They can't exactly have a concert and not have the main character present!

Now I'm glad they didn't use those soggy thrones yesterday!  Shocked Maybe that is one of the reasons none of them sat down. Although I do know that such infections are unfortunately quite common in elderly people. I wonder if he was suffering during the pageant but kept a brave face anyway.  Sad

SHIT - so many of us hoped nothing would happen until after the jubilee, if at all

this will cast a shadow over the rest of the festivities, i hope it's not too serious but obviously it is or he wouldn't be going into hospital for a number of days
