sometimes i feel bad for anne, because i thnk the queen would have liked a more-girly daughter. i do recall reading either in kitty kelley's book or another on the queen mum where the queen mum thought edward would be a girl.

The Queen thought Edward was going to be a girl because of his size.  She felt smaller in her pregnancy than she did with Andrew, hence why she thought he was a girl.  Edward weighed a small 5lbs at birth.

SC I agree. Well to an extent as I'm not sure if he was just a guy in the street I would think he was cute...maybe? But whenever I see him with young and with hair I'm surprised because it is such a difference.

When I saw this photo on Facebook I cracked up for a good 5 minutes.  How ridiculous does he look in the wheelchair!  I do wonder what Sophie is saying to him.

Eddy was a handsome man back in his youth and when he had hair.
