It's amazing how that certain gene is carried down. I think Prince Michael gorgeous!!!  Cool

it is, isn't it

King George V (right) with his first cousin Tsar Nicholas II, Berlin, 1913.

it is said that Georg and Nikki switched uniforms to fool their surroundings. They succeeded and are said to had have their time of their lives with their jokes. All spoke German, English and Russian without accents.

the three kings: Czar Nicholas II of Russia, King George V of Britain and Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. Three first cousins

Kaiser Wilhelm looked nothing alike his cousins when he was younger, but as an old man he started to resemble them more.

Kaiser Wilhelm II. with Kaiserin Hermine, German Emperor and Empress

sorry to be OT, but these three always fascinated me. Back to the Kents now

George V and his cousin the Tsar are a clone of each other!

I always think Lady Helen's children don't get seen that much, which is a great shame. They are:

1. Columbus George Donald Taylor, who was born on 6 August 1994
2. Cassius Edward Taylor, who was born on 26 December 1996
3. Eloise Olivia Katherine Taylor, who was born on 2 March 2003
4. Estella Olga Elizabeth Taylor, who was born on 21 December 2004

Many dishers know that Katherine Kent taught music in a poor area of Hull for many years under the name "Mrs Kent". You might not know that the experience prompted her to found a charity called "Future Talent" to find and nuture children who have exceptional musical talent but not the money or opportunity to pursue it. Here is a link to the website: www.futuretalent.org/ and here's a link to a YouTube video of the Duchess promoting it on a UK TV show:

This is well worth looking into. This is a great lady.

Yes and also orked a a volunteer for the Samaritans during the 80s. Ale also trained as an RN (with few priviledges at her request) at, I think Great Ormond Street. She, Katherine Kent & Birgitte are very down-to-earth, beautiful (in & out) who do tons of good and unreported things for others.
Non of them are "lookerme" people, nor do they demand anything special, they simply accept it is part of their official role when on duty.
Of course that does not prevent some people brown-nosing like mad and trying it on in huge slathers.  Grin

On the other hand, I believe I've read that Alexandra is an unrepentant snob of the first water.  She is breautiful and elegant, but her photos do radiate a certain hauteur.

And do you think it's true that she and Prince Phillip have had a fling?

No idea, B. re Phil & Alex.  Whistle I have heard that all the Royals adore her, and to me she seems down-to-earth. However, who really knows the truth, we can only speculate (as wedo, like mad)

Lady Marina Windsor: No more modelling
04 Mar 2011-Lady Marina Windsor hopes for a career in the United Nations.

Lady Marina Windsor looked every inch a future catwalk star when she modelled for Tatler last year, but she tells Mandrake that
she has no plans to do any more modelling. A career in the United Nations would, she feels, be eminently more rewarding.
Lady Marina, 18, featured in the shoot with her brother, Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick, 22, and her sister,
Lady Amelia Windsor, 15. “We did it for [couturier] Hardy Amies,” she says. “We owed them a lot because they had done so much for our family.”
The grandchild of the Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Kent, is currently at St Mary’s, Ascot, and hopes to go on to Oxford and then the UN.
“I’m very interested in diplomacy,” she says. “It’s very hard to get into the UN – there is a lot of competition – so I’ll have to work very hard.”
http://www.telegraph.co.u...or-No-more-modelling.html

In 2008, The Observer reported that she had been confirmed as a Roman Catholic, and had therefore forfeited her place
in the line of succession.  Thinking is true?
