Katharine Lucy Mary, Duchess of Kent; née Worsley, born 22 February 1933 married Prince Edward, Duke of Kent (born 9 October 1935) at York Minster on 8 June 1961. They have three children:
George, Earl of St Andrews, born 26 June 1962; married Sylvana Tomaselli
Lady Helen Taylor, born 28 April 1964; married Timothy Taylor
Lord Nicholas Windsor, born 25 July 1970; married, 2006, Paola Doimi de Lupis de Frankopan, in Vatican City, becoming the first British royal in history to do so.









Katharine was really pretty and has also a gentle voice

  brilliant thread Miss W, the kents had two royal parents, and Marina and Philip were very close cousins, Alexandra has never put a foot wrong and looks so elegant as does Lady Ella . Michael does get bad press but as far as one can tell the queen has good time for him and his wife, contrary to what the press would have us believe.

I also admire Katharine, The Duchess of Kent, for going out and becoming a teacher of music in schools.
I think that the Kents are very photogenic as a whole.  And, apart from Marina Ogilvy, as a youth, have behaved quite within Royal protocols.
Marina photographed on or near a motorbike was a very interesting shot all the same!
Michael, in photos, is so like his Russian cousins of old...very handsome.

Thanks Diamond Lil  and Miss W (can't  now cos I just did! - I love these old-fashioned, simple engagement rings, and much prefer them to the more recent styles. A large centre stone with a diamond on either side is very beautiful.
