I always favor it when the bride and bridegroom walk together to the altar like Paola and Albert

It indeed is rumoured that the youngest son, Laurent, is not Albert his son, but Aldo Vastapane's if I'm not mistaken.
As to an affair with Salvatore Adamo. I believe he always denied it. I think he just simply made a song about her and that's it.
And yes; Albert had a long lasting relationship with Sybille de Selys Longchamps from which his daughter Delphine was born, who in my opinion has a very striking ressemblance to late queen Astrid.

Great pictures, Swashbuckler! Star  Young Paola was absolutely beautiful.

I've never believed the story that Laurent is not Albert's son.  I happen to see a strong resemblance between Albert and Laurent.

Yes I agree. I think Laurent resembles Albert the most out of his and Paola's children.

Some later pictures of our lovely dolce Paola:

And today:

I think she looks pretty good for a woman in her 70s. However, the tanning she did in her youth isn't doing her any favors today (the heavy smoking didn't help either  ). Her deep tan is such a contrast to QEII's fair complexion in LadyC's pic.

I also think that Paola looks great for her age.   Thumb up
She is totally recognisable, fit and she has not sold out her expressions for a wrinkle free bulked up face.

If Albert doesn't want to publically acknowledge Delphine as his daughter that is one thing, but for him to actually deny it when her resemblance to his mother Queen Astrid is so striking makes him look like a complete idiot, imo.  Shocked
