Phina, I saw this in http://www.dailymail.co.u...an-royal-Nobel-party.html. I only add it because the headline calls him a Norwegian prince which is laughable as he never was a prince.

Thanks for the English language version Jigme.

ARI BEHN REVEALS THAT PRINCE HAAKON SAVED HIS LIFE

The writer almost died drowned during a vacation with the royal family of Norway.

"I thought my last moment was approaching. Prince Haakon saved me that day", recalls the writer

Ari Behn, the ex-husband of Princess Marta Luisa of Norway, recently revealed that she owes her life to her brother-in-law, Prince Haakon. According to Scandinavian magazine Se og HÝr, the writer almost drowned during a holiday with the royal family in Fredrikstad.

A lover of water sports, Ari decided to go out on his own for a kayak trip, but the boat eventually turned around and the writer could not get him back up again. "The cold water involved me and I thought my end was approaching", he told the magazine. He then decided to swim to the dock, but he began to lose his strength: "I was drowning." Prince Haakon was at the dock, and when he saw the situation where his brother-in-law was, he swam to take him out of the sea. "The prince saved me that day. If he had not been there, surely the consequences would have been fatal to me."

But the situation was complicated again when, on the verge of hypothermia, Ari decided to raise his body temperature by getting into a hot tub when he got home: "I fainted in the tub and almost choked for the second time."

Nice that Hakoon rescued him. Was that a recent vacation? Or does he look for a headline?

In an inadvertent celebration of the male mid life crisis, Gabba Gallery Los Angeles is staging an exhibition of art by Ari Behn, complex beefcake actor Mikael Persbrandt and unknown to me Espen Eiborg

It doesn't look great.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Ari Behn's art looks like something one of his daughters made in their school art class.

What's the message of these paintings?

"I'm not very good at art"

Honestly, Gunvald Larsson's paintings are the best of the three. Ari and Buddha man are just bad. And I say that as an amateur royal disher and professional modern art curator.

Yes, they're. But sadly being the best of these three is not really a compliment for him.

VERY depressing.  I'm sure his daughters art in 2nd grade was more meaningful. JMO  I'm not a fan.

Funny he used the Royal family in  his resume introduction.  It's his only claim to fame, so he's sticking with it, even though they are divorced, pathetic really.

"As a painter, Behnís work took a turn when he went through his divorce with wife of 15 years, Princess Mšrtha Louise of Norway.  Creatively honest about his experiences, Behnís paintings evoke the history and his experience as part of the Royal family.

My Tessy stanning is more of a religious vocation.

More from Ari's midlife crisis art:

Considering Ari's divorce and inlaws, this has some ... interesting... motifs

a crown motif

Screaming figure trapped in a castle

King

In conclusion, Ari has taken the divorce surprising well and is a happy and balanced man who should definitely not be kept as far from the Norwegian royal family as possible

He still seems to be traumatised by his brush with royalty...
