It's a nice photo but I think it conceals her big personality. She seems to be joyful, outgoing, extrovert and I think non it shows in the pic.
Nevertheless, happy, happy birthday to Amalia! May she be healthy and happy her whole life!

She’s becoming a lovely young lady. I cannot believe she is 15 already!

The photo seems heavily photo shopped to slim her down,  especially in the face.  But It's still lovely.

Apparently it is rare 3 children of 1 family all doing Gymnasium (the Dutch secondary school which prepares for University, and is incl. Latin and Greek. Otherwise it would be called Atheneum. Both are considered VWO (voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderwijs = preparing scientific education)

It is Ariane's 12th birthday. One of the Dutch digital news sites has put a collection of Ariane's images together in honor of her birthday:

Congratulations!
I like it that the NRF is so close nitted and that also those not in line also got something to do/are included in fotos etc.

Moreover that they don't make a fuss about succession and that WA is and can be proud of his three daughters. No one spoke an ill word or pressured Max to have a son. Fantastic!!! Others should and could learn something from them.

Don't forget the Dutch just have had >100 years of 3 Queen regnants (Wilhelmina,  Juliana & Beatrix) and 1 female regentes (Emma for her daughter Wilhelmina) before WA came into power.

Indeed. And even before that during the Habsburg rule, there have been many female Stadtholders (I think that's the word in Dutch?).

In Dutch it is "stadhouder". As far as I know they have always been male. But there has been at least one, who became stadhouder on a very young age. With mommy as part of the guidance.

I meant f.e. her: https://en.m.wikipedia.or...Austria,_Duchess_of_Savoy (But it was obviously more of Belgium than the Netherlands).

According to this Dutch language Wiki about Stadhouder the function of Stadhouder-Genera(a)l has evolved till landvoogd(es) of the Netherlands (gouverneur). Maria of Hungary, sister of Karel V was the 1st landvoogdes.
