you don't see sarah often, but i've always thought that she was refined and classy and did have that reserved kind of look, but in a good way. it would be nice to see her more often at events.

Lovely Sarah. Yes, I also remember she was very close to aunt QE. Maybe she guided ,advised and protected her niece, who became as discreet as her cousin Anne.

According to the note accompanying the picture it was taken March 14, 1967 And the same month, 9 years later they announced their separation.

Princess Margaret was involved with more than 80 charities and organizations. She served as president of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and President of the Royal Ballet.

And when I was a Girl Guide way back in the day PMargaret was president of the Girl Guides Association and the chief guide was ...Dame Ann Parker Bowles! (Camilla's first MiL)

She was extraordinarily beautiful, but quite spoiled.And not one accustomed to bending. But 'Second-child-itis' is often nearly fatal. At least to one's reputation in history. As we see today with Andrew, etc.
