P.S. Camilla was wearing Bruce Oldfield, himself a former Barnardo's boy - lovely touch.

As usual, Camilla had children who are supported by Helen and Douglas House in Oxford to help her decorate the Xmas tree at Clarence House http://www.dailymail.co.u...-tree-Clarence-House.html Despite the fact she has been doing this for 6 years, I still get a lump in my throat when I see the pictures - such a little thing in light of what these children have to face, but they look as if they're having a lovely time.

I agree. How can all of the adults in the room keep themselves composed when you know this little one only has a short time left. Lovely photos of Camilla with the little girl and her parents.

A very hard article to read those poor families ... well done to Cam she is doing her job amazingly well !!! I don't know if I could have kept myself together and given those kids a good time like she did ...

It almost seems that Cams even co-ordinated her necklace with Liz's Aquamarine Clips...? Methinks Cams is playing with the big girls now and fur realz - what with the lovely reference to Oldfield's long and crucial connection to Barnardo's (the kind of gesture the DuRF excel at, and Liz with her brooches too). She gets it right 10 out of 10 with regards to the amount of humility and interest in people she's showing. She's there to support the people, not the other way around. Plus she likes animals. Now pass me the vinegar need to rinse my mouth. (it's 5 o clock somewhere!)
