Which Princess has Saveria for a middle name? Princess Isabella of Parma (1741-1763) was Isabella Maria Luisa Antoinetta Ferdinanda Giuseppina Saveria Dominica Giovanna.

My goodness that's a mouthful! There must have been lots of aunts to keep happy. :D

Not only the aunts also the saints of the day.

Many in our family have at least 2 middle names. Especially in the older generations they are named in a particular sequence. In other words the eldest are named after the grandparents; while the following ones are named after aunts and uncles of either side (in specific order). My father for example, his middle names are a reference to an uncle and aunt. Based on the name of his aunt, it could also serve as a reference to the Virgin Mary.

In my generation, at least among my cousins and siblings, I predominantly see references to the grandparents. For example I am named after both my grandmothers. But I also see brothers being named after their grandfathers, but using different parts of the grandfathers names.

I've always been rather annoyed with both Charles and William for not giving their eldest son a choice of what name to use as King.
William Arthur Phillip Louis can only be King William V. He can't be King Arthur, King Phillip or King Louis( especially not King Louis, unless he decides to become King of France instead.) George Alexander Louis might be able to be King Alexander, but I doubt it. It all seems rather inconsiderate, especially when Charles has a choice of Charles or George when he ascends.
