Just a thought... I'm a friend of bling and love drooling over tiaras and necklaces etc. These days all the princes and kings wear boring old "love boat" -uniforms and military caps which I find boring and sometimes a bit ridiculous even. What if they still/again wore crowns and tiaras at similar events where the ladies wear bling..? Can you imagine it? Feel free to photoshop away if you like...  And yeah, I'm not totally serious. But it would be fun to see some creative stuff on their boring heads!

If nothing else, some of those big tricons with huge swoops of ostrich feathers or those old-fashioned admiral's hats.  Or even cavalier's hats.

That Russian crown sure looks lovely...  Laughing I'm sorry but it looks like a giant, bejeweled arsehat that's displaying whether the ruler has a brain or not.  Laugh bounce

The Coronet of Charles, Prince of Wales was made for Charles as his investure as Prince of Wales in 1969.
The Coronet of George, Prince of Wales, is a single-arched silver-gilt coronet made for the Prince of Wales (the future King George V) to wear at the coronation of his father, King Edward VII, in 1902.

I have always thought Prince Charles' Prince of Wales coronet looks like it was designed to receive messages from deep space. I guess that's the problem when you try to make a so-called modern version of royal regalia. It always looks way too weird and sci-fi.
