Apparently, Steph's jacket was also recycled:

And the black & white gown was worn by Alex, too:

Claire's fur stole was also borrowed:

Sorry if this has been posted already. Thought given the discussion about Steph's coat, it was interesting.

Cool!
Seems like they are happy to recycle stuff amongst them.

Other than that, they may get discount for bulk purchases.  Laugh bounce

I see no problem, considering the cost of some of those pieces, of sharing between them IMO. Thumb up

Little odd that Stef would borrow from her sister in law though, as Alex is only 22. Different then borrowing jewels or fur from her mother in law IMO.

But far better, IMO, then sharing clothes with your mother or mother in law like a certain British waif and her mother.

That's only a six year age difference. Swapping clothes with your SIL makes more sense than with your MIL.
Not sure why it seemed to not look as matronly on Alex. Maybe the hairstyle.

The hairstyle is part of it, plus Alex has a rather baby-ish looking face. Cute girl.

I just find at certain ages, 6 years is a big difference. Still in school vs. career woman, your styles tend to be different IMO.

I agree, Alex looks far less matronly. Both the hair, and has a girlish face, looks younger than she is.

Alex had the collar turned up which gave it  more flare.

Star I've never seen these pics either.

I'm a bit tired of the wedding dress with the Grace lace top, even if it's beautiful.  Snore

Macarons  Drool Icecream indeed !

Tageblatt never disappoints, they are the only ones in Lux that don't use too much photoshop on the GD family and publish the pics the family might want to burn (Linus looking bored or MT showing spanx - the pics in church). But I must say the whole thing looks so over the top to me. All this grinning from the bride and groom looks a bit fake to me (sorry but I can't warm to the Habsburgs, just don't like them). And I feel horribly sorry for Katie because she didn't get the tiara and her parents-in-law clearly showed that they prefer a French daughter-in-law.

There are pics of Katie and Imre's cake somewhere on this site.  Compare it to the one Adelaide and Christoph had.  The tiara isn't the only difference between the weddings.

Thank you for finding that! Star

Imre and Katie's cake looks like the cake of any middle-class American bride and groom.  Adelaide and Christoph's cake looks more royal-and also looks like it can serve all the people at their reception.  Katie and Imre's does not.
