Thank you!   Star

My Granny Campbell would be annoyed that I didn’t know that.

The Greville Emerald Necklace and Earrings

I'd love to see these come out of the vault.

Me too!  Star

I think Cams has (or is lent) the tiara, so why not the necklace?

Yep, Cams has been lent the tiara. The emeralds would be stunning on her. She's been lent the Greville Festoon diamond necklace, so I don't know why she did't get this set.

Cams does have a emerald necklace from the Saudi's  - but this is much better IMHO.

The center of the chocker is a sapphire brooch of Queen Mary (who else) given by HM as a wedding present.

I was wondering why this hadn't been given to Kate with the rest of the sapphires. Then I noticed it was worn with the revenge dress on the night Charles gave his TV interview. This may not see the light of day until William is King.

That's a certainty...

Anyone know the provence of the brooch Cams is wearing? I don't recall it and haven't turned up anything in a light search.

It's called the Nelson Brooch, and was modeled after Lord Nelson's Cockade. More information I cannot find as yet. According to Karma Chameleon it may have belonged to Alexandria at one time.

Here's more information: https://media.gettyimages...e-id137799704?s=2048x2048

No association with Alexandra, it is a newer piece if I understand correctly, one that she has worn before.
