Frances Bowes-Lyon, Countess of Strathmore (1832-1922) was the paternal grandmother of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Are there any pictures of her with her granddaughter Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon?

I'm kind of surprised no one from Denmark was there.
Does anyone know what that button is on the duchess of Gloucester's wrist? I can't make out any kind of fastening, so it looks as if her wrist is, well, buttoned up. Did she break it at some point?
Good showing all around for someone who really seemed to know everybody.

Looks like a watch with a clear wristband to me.

That is a very odd button on DoG wrist. Maybe some kind of monitor? I can identify everyone except this lady:

Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, is wearing a Georg Jensen Bangle watch. She was born is Denmark and Georg Jensen is a Danish design company She has worn it for many years and I have always loved it. The bangle design is partly open on the wrist. From their website: "As much a piece of jewelry as it is a timepiece, a bangle watch is both beautiful and practical. Sculptural shapes and Scandinavian minimalism combine to make Georg Jensen’s bracelet watches truly timeless." https://www.georgjensen.c...pe/watches/bangle-watches

Thank you Aubiette! I thought it was probably a Windsor cousin but I can't tell them all by sight quite yet.

I wasn’t sure where to put this. Hope it’s ok here. Memorial service for Lady Elizabeth Shakerley (1941-2020), cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, daughter of Princess Anne of Denmark and sister of the late photographer Patrick Lichfield, at the Church of St Margaret, Westminster. The Countess of Wessex represented the Queen. Lady Gabriella Kingston !! always so chic!
