Noordeinde Palace in The Hague is the working palace of Queen Beatrix and I imagine will continue it's role as the working place of the Dutch monarch.

It looks like a large town house from the street view but it's deceptively large, covering an enormous amount of space.

Thanks so much for these pictures. I have never really seen any Dutch castles before. Many of the rooms seem quite empty though.

Thanks, Tatty Star  Banana I've never seen interior photos of Noordeinde before. It's very severe, isn't it? But The Bee's office surprises me! Smiley

Located within the De Horsten estate in Wassenaar, Villa Eikenhorst is the current home of the Prince and Princess of Orange and their 3 daughters. I imagine they will move to Huis ten Bosch in The Hague when Wax is crowned. I'm not sure what will become of Villa Eikenhorst after that.

Thanks for the photos of Eikenhorst, Tatty;  Star when time allows.
It looks like a very nice family home (albeit a humongous one Grin).  I think I read somewhere that it would become C&L's home in the Netherlands...

The main building of Paleis Het Loo will be closed to the public from 8 January 2018 to the middle of 2021.
In this period, tourists are more than welcome to visit the palace gardens, stables and museum restaurants from April to September.

Villa Eikenhorst was previously the home of princess Christina, WA's aunt, and her family. Before occupation by WA and his family is was renovated.

Drakensteyn Castle is a small castle at 9 Slotlaan in the hamlet of Lage Vuursche, in the municipality of Baarn, Netherlands. It is owned by Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands, the country's former Queen who abdicated in 2013. Beatrix bought the castle in 1959, when she was the heir to the Dutch throne, and took up residence in 1963. After her marriage in 1966 she continued to live there with her husband, Prince Claus and later their three sons as well.

On January 28, 2013, it was announced that Beatrix would take up residence at the castle after her son, Willem-Alexander, ascended to the Dutch throne on April 30, 2013. On February 2, 2014, Beatrix moved in to the castle
