i saw Bridgerton
Light and funny i enjoyed,i wonder someone here read the books?
I read the Bridgerton books and recommend them. Anthony's book has a lot more humor than the first one so I hope next season is a bit more about the LOLz. I also recommend her Smythe-Smith series. It's in the same world as Bridgerton and Lady Danbury is there with her cane.  Laugh bounce

Just finished The Queen's Gambit and it's really good.

I have read the first Bridgerton book: The Duke and I. The pretend courtship of Daphne and Simon gets interesting.

Actually, our teen daughter recommended it. IIRC, it's 7 episodes.

The Queen's Gambit was a fantastic show.

I LOVED the Bridgerton show and so I bought the first three books. Haaaate them. I'm struggling to finish the first one. It's such poor writing that it makes it really difficult to read. The author head hops constantly. Where's the editor?!

I already knew and was reading the Bridgerton novels by Julia Quinn, before the tv series was in development. I personally liked them....and I still have to see the series.

Just watched the 5 episodes of My Mother and Other Strangers. I liked it but I guess it stopped there.

Anyone seen the Durrells in Corfu?

I also read the Bridgerton series, but the first book in the Smythe-Smith series wasnít available at my library, so Iíve followed up with the Rokesbys series- the Bridgerton prequel series. Itís pretty good. Someone else mentioned the hopping back and forth between characters- Iíve been listening to the audiobooks, which make that more of a transition than a jumping-back-and-forth.

If you have Starz, "Men In Kilts" is awesome. It's Sam and Graham from "Outlander" going on a Scottish road trip. Each episode has a theme like sports, food, music, etc.

I've been getting so many ads for this on social media - it does look like a lot of fun! Might have to check it out.
