Ride Upon the Storm starring the gorgeous Lars Mikkelsen, (Troels Hartmann from The Killing).  Icecream

The better looking Mikkelsen brother IMO Thumb up

To my taste they are both not very gorgeous or so

the white queen anyone?
about the finish it and start the white princess not bad at all i even think to read the books.

Gorgeous series!! Rebecca Ferguson was wonderful in it.  I bought it on DVD because I enjoyed it so much.  The White Princess is not bad either but definitely a different tone.
great show indeed, there is something missing in the white princess though maybe we are used to the outstanding performance of Rebecca Ferguson as Queen Elizabith that the Princess/Queen Elizabith seems so plain in the second show imo.

I agree, the White Princess just seemed flat to me.  It wasn't any one thing, I mean the acting was fine as were the costumes.

I love the book The Handmaid's Tale but I am glad I am not the only one not feeling ready to watch it..

Son #1 and I bingwatched Stranger Things 1 and 2 - I am glad season 2 kept up. I especially loved how Steve developed as a character - it was interesting seeing it with a teenage boy..

Also we have binged Godless (Netflix) - it wasn't what I thought it was but it's good. And it looks good. I grew up on Lucky Luke (the comic) and the Laura Ingalls Wilder books and have a soft spot for tales of Westerns - this worked well for that.

We started watching Knightfall to see if it's something now that GoT is off the air - it's not.. I don't even think it's watchable

out of curiosity i dowloaded both stranger things 2 and godless and i enjoied them very very much! *champ*grazie for the suggstions.ciao

I have been binge-watching La Mante (The Mantis) on Netflix at the moment.  It's a great show if you're into whodunnits.  Lots of twists that turn your initial impressions upside down.  I did pick the perp at an early stage but then something happened to make me think I was wrong,  but it turned out I was right.

I just discovered The Windsors on Netflix, clearly a parody but very funny. The guy playing Harry also played him in Charles III.

Since I am newcomer to Netflix and finished binging the Crown, I watched the Gilmore Girls... Sadly they are nowhere near the original fun and banter. It is just silly, just bla jokes... Very sad.

Imo the Gilmore Girls revival was terrible. A total disappointment. Amy Sherman-Palladino just ignored the last season (7) and then ended this 4 episode revival how she originally wanted to finish the show. Dreadful decision.

The only aspect I did like, was that "Wunderkind" Rory didn't have some magical high flying career, but landed on her nose, like everyone does every once in our lives.
