What TV series / shows have you been watching lately?

Saw the first episode of The Great. Beautiful costumes and I do love Elle Fanning. Quite humorous too. Bit awkward watching it with my mother when they kept using the p word to describe women’s anatomy and the f word. Mother did not approve!

I finally got around to watching Sanditon (which I had recorded over a year ago!). It definitely filled the Bridgerton void! I didn’t like the abrupt ending though, I have been reading that there may be a second season.

But i was most pleasantly surprised to see our favourite actor-turned-royal, Lady Sophie Windsor, in a small but pivotal role. Oh my, she was lovely on screen!

Highly recommend seeking this one out for some Jane Austen/Regency goodness.

I’ve heard that’s really good!

I’ll have to add it to my list to binge whenever I get a break from grad school homework. I tend to take a night during a slow class week, support a local restaurant by getting takeout, and sit on the couch binging something on tv. A little mindless reset is nice when I can manage it!

I enjoyed The Dig very much.  My most recent bingefest was New Amsterdam.  That was a surprise treat because I had never heard of it before I happened upon it.  I'm very pleased to see there is a third season in the works.
