In the Netherlands, an intense program has been broadcast for several years, in which young people who are terminally ill are treated and shown in a neat and beautiful way: Over mijn lijk ( = Over my corpse / Over my death body).

Over mijn lijk is a television program by BNNVARA. In the program five terminally ill young people (including various forms of cancer) are followed for a longer period of time. In Januari 2022 the 9th season of the program started. As far as I could see 2 participants (an inspiring 16 year old girl with metastatic liver cancer and a 31 year old man (who just became a father) with a rare case of colon cancer)

My boyfriend can't even look at it, it makes him feel too much.

If I'm right, the concept was also once taken over by a Belgian and Swedish channel (sometimes with minor changes).

I recently watched 2 seasons of Modern love, 8 episodes in each season, with no connection in the characters and their stories but with lots of meanings and... lots of love!

I also watched Why women kill, season 1, I absolutely reccomend it!!!! Super entertaining, so many things are going on at once, the development of each character is well written... definitely worth it!

I have heard a lot about this show! I think I'll get it a shot.

Finished Emily in Paris - it's super cute.
Finishing up Anne with an E - on the last season and I'll be sad to finish it. Such a good show!
Also need to finish Only Murders in the Building

Yeah, I totally loved it!
There are 3 different timelines though - the stories don't interefere with each other but I mention it because it may be annoying for some people.

Nice series, I wait for the 2nd season as well!
I don't think it's super innovative but it's definitely pleasant and I like that so far the love story is a sideline and the main plot is about the female protagonist, her work, her personal development, the fact she insists and insists in a world dominated by men. She works twice as a man to succeed even though she always seems to be many steps ahead.

Am watching a show Great Castles of England, a young historian, with an accent like the guy who did Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, does a great job with the history and intrigue.  So far I’ve learned about Dover Castle, Tower of London, and Warwick castle.

Intrigue near the throne, nobles and not-first-in-line intrigue is par for the course, then and now. Only difference are the consequences for betraying or upsetting the monarch.  Then: significant. Now, eh, not so much.

I've had that on my Netflix list for a long time - need to check it out soon!
