I remember watching it for the first time and thinking that it was funny - esp. Anne - but that only Catherine was portrayed as a nice person. At the time there were many negative comments about her in forums and in tabloid media so I did not expect it to be popular. How things change.

My boyfriend commented that I should tell you he learns a lot via The Windsors combined with my explanations and Google  Laughing

We just finished the Christmas special, where we got to meet Anne.

With her incinerator and do it your self lobotomie.....

I imagine your boyfriend has quite the interesting view of the Royals if those are his sources!

I need to get back into the Windsors; I had started it a while ago and thought it was funny.

Yes, Kate is nice on the Windsors, but more importantly, she is obtuse to the snide remarks around her. She also is played as a gypsy, as a poke to how “unroyal” she is. Charles is played as an idiot too. Camilla and Pippa are the two big connivers…

We, my boyfriend and me, binchwatched about 1,5 season of The Windsors this weekend. In other words we finished it Smiley

It is sooo over the top. And indeed those accents IMO the portrayel of Meghan ("Maghan") is also striking. Among others the sneer about the banana's and the renovation costs of Frogmore cottage  Laugh bounce

The tv schedules were strange during the mourning period, especially the first days, so I revisited Ted Lasso from the start and binged 2 series. Then my colleagues said to try 'Bad Sisters' on Apple TV. I resisted it because I saw that it was a remake of a Belgian series Clan that I really liked (and remakes are not always good) but this week we tried it and it's very good. The cast is (almost all) Irish and now it is set in Dublin. It is a dark comedy mystery, I suppose, to describe it,  told in flashbacks, about the death of a horrible coercive husband. The only problem is that I know 'whodunnit' and there are three more episodes and I must not give a hint that I know.
