On December 7 Prince Laurent was the guest of honour and gave the start at the 8th edition of the Christmas Run in the centre of Bruges. The event supports several social projects.

Ok. A bit weird...

Claire was given the UnitedHumans Award (?!) for #MutualRespect (?!) by the United Humans Foundation (who they?). She didn't attend the presentation so it was collected by Laurent.

Firstly, when did anyone last see Claire?

Secondly, what on earth is the United Humans Fund and was Claire the best candidate for the prize?

Thirdly, the event was retweeted by a twitter account called @Laurent_of_B which has 'pending the take back by HRH' where most people type their bios. This account was also tagged by the official photographer for the event, along with the Belgian royal palace

Fourthly, Claire, if you are reading this, drop us a line sweetheart. We just want to know you are ok.

Could be a harmless reason of course like she was ill, one of the children was ill.

I agree though that it seems odd that we don't hear anything from her.

Exactly! It wasn't even like a big awards ceremony, so if Claire was unable to go on that day, they could have had it another day.

Have we seen her do an official appearance since the 2017 Christmas concert?

I just read about an event that Claire and Laurent attended together on March 25, 2019.  See the link below for pictures.

"Prince Laurent and Princess Claire of Belgium were present at a reception given by the Queen Marie-Henriette Children's House. Founded in 1863 at the initiative of Queen Marie-Henriette, wife of King Leopold II, the association helps over a hundred children aged 0 to 14 whose parents have difficult journeys. The princely couple spoke at length with the children."

I blame Laurent and his inability to cope with reality on his idiot parents.  They caused this.  Yes, he's a grown-ass man who is entirely responsible for himself and his failure to be a functioning human being, but Albert and Paola brought this on.  Hopefully, Claire has some influence on him and has made him get the psychological help he desperately needs.  I also hope she's told him to shut up and stop whining.
Absolutely. Glad to see Claire is OK because she is carrying a heavy burden. Looks like  her and the children are doing well. At least they seem happy and affectionate.

It's a little bit old news but at the end of june, Laurent has inaugurated a new clinic run by his foundation.

The « Fondation prince Laurent » offers free care or affordable care for the pets owned by people in need. There are five clinics in Belgium.
The motto of the foundation is « Aider l'homme par l'animal », which roughly means «Help someone through his pet. »

And there are talks between the foundation and Charleroi to open a center here too :

I can't say that Laurent looks good. He certainly isn't a well balanced person. But this here is a good cause and I hope many people are helped.

Bad news from Laurent's family: Claire has been seriously ill for 6 months now. As if this is not enough, she also caught a corona infection from which she luckily recovered.
I have always liked Claire and wish her a full and speedy recovery. Her family needs her.

Wow, I was not expecting this.

Wishing Claire a speedy and strong recovery.

I also hope Laurent and their children are coping well and the family have support from his siblings and Claire's family.
