Is this portrait exhibited in a public place? I guess that if it was gifted to him,it must be locked somewhere safe and out of sight. Unless the DoC wishes to keep it nearby for good old hair's sake.

Who can forget that painting of the Danish royals, including a creepy looking Christiaan (Chucky style)

Isabelle looking at Christian like Cersei looked at Ned Stark.  Does Denmark have absolute promigenture?  ‘Cause that version of Izzy’s got some plans for her brother.

Between the awful highlights, the orange jacket and the overexcited look on her face she's really creepy. But I think she's creepy in general so...

I will never forget it. I think they released that one in 2013? The twitter reactions were hilarious.

It made an impression worldwide. It was released to mark the 150th anniversary of the House of Glucksburg. It was painted by Thomas Kluge. It took him four years to paint it. He named it Kongehuset (Royal Family). They were apparently trying for a kind of reproduction of an 1880s portrait of the Royal Family, "Fredensborgbillede," by Laurits Tuxen, for they had the family assembled in the same room of the same palace (Jardin Hall, Fredensborg) but I don't see the resemblance.

OMG ! What is the purpose of this Halloween portrait ? The remake of the Adam's family. Only Marie, trying not to look at this circus looks OK. I guess the artist liked her more than the others. :-)

Found it!
It's a 2014 portrait of the Duke of Cambridge by Dan Llywelyn Hall. The artist called it "Fatherhood" and painted it to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. It sold a charity public auction to an anonymous  foreign bidder.
