Did Archduke Christoph and wife Adelaide had a fourth child recently or is she just holding her nephew Karl here? Edit : yes! I just found the official picture and little Karl is in his father's arms! A second boy for Christoph and Adelaide then.   There was a mention that Archduke Christoph and Archduchess Adelaide have had a new baby boy. According to the English Wikipedia about Carl Christian: "...Archduke Christoph Henri Alexander Maria Marcus d' Aviano of Austria (b. 2 February 1988, Geneva, Switzerland). He got engaged to Adélaïde Marie Béatrice Drapé-Frisch (b. 4 September 1989, Les Lilas, Paris, France), daughter of a diplomat,[7][8 ][9] on 22 December 2011. They married civilly on 28 December 2012[10] and in a religious ceremony on 29 December 2012.[11][12][13]
They have four children:
Archduchess Katarina Marie-Christine Fabiola of Austria (b. 22 December 2014, Geneva, Switzerland).[14][15][16]
Archduchess Sophia of Austria (b. 31 August 2017, Geneva, Switzerland).[citation needed]

I was very surprised to see Priscilla of Habsburg with a gentleman. I thought she was (for all intents and purposes) a religious. Unless, of course, he was her escort at the church.
It could be, many of her brothers are also religious isn't it. But I have to confess I wouldn't recognize Priscilla (do you have a picture?) Aaaaah, wait, this is Priscilla....isn't she?  I also noticed Louis with a kind of escort, a family member of one of the close circle?  The lady with Louis is one of MT's nieces, I think. |

Yes, her name is Victoria Esteve and she is the daughter of Maria Teresa's sister, Catalina Mestre Esteve. MT's sister's family often spent time in Cabasson, the royal family’s summer residence in the South of France. There they became well-acquainted with the other members of the Luxembourg royal family, including Marie-Astrid's children. |

Alexander Habsburg married Natacha Roumiantzeff-Pachkevitch at the church of Saint-Pierre in Belœil, Belgium  Reading this thread for so many years has turned me into a hopeless Imre and Katie sugar even though I find them so horrifying on so many levels. But I was genuinely happy to see them looking so content, and their latest niblet looking like such a cute little dumpling. I'm right there with you. I know these two march to their own drummer but they always look very happy together. And, honestly, his parents should be relieved Imre and Katie found each other. I don't think there would have been too many takers for him otherwise. In other wedding news - Stephanie of Luxembourg looked great. It was one of her best ever looks! |

I agree - this is the best I've seen Guillaume and Stephanie possibly ever. Guillaume looks healthy and groomed, as does Stephanie.
The Luxemburg Habsburgs are soooo children of the corn but at least some of them are bringing in outside blood. That can only be healthy - and they seem like very happy families.

Archduke Karl was born June 4, 2023. He "is named after the Blessed Karl". Was not Archduke Karl also named after his paternal grandfather Archduke Carl Christian?

And they most likely would've had even more had Karl not died. Zita was after all only 30 then. Btw. yes five children is a lot. But they definitely need another child. At least one. A daughter. Eitherwise I will always say/think that they just waited until they had a boy. |

I wonder if the children are German-speaking? I don't think their mom has particularly high level German-language skills. The kids would certainly need to be bilingual at the very least.
