Besides, she misspelled the word "occasion."

Ooh, good catch. I guess Kathleen has more otherworldly concerns than spelling. Like how to re-animate Zita.

My sister trained herself to write a very distinctive, readable handwriting which is a work of art (I think).  My handwriting stinks, I should have done the same, as I love to send [and receive] handwritten cards.  It's a dying art.

No OT intended but Kathleen's handwriting reminds me of the Duchess of Sussex's, the roundness, the curliques... it must be a "thing."  OR I could be totally wrong, maybe it's the sign of a decently taught cursive handwriting (maybe with personal affectation), I truly wouldn't know.  My cursive handwriting training ended in 3rd grade (American public school).

That misspelled word is just embarrassing though.

I can't criticize her for that--I'll be honest, that's one word that I used to misspell frequently, along with "simultaneous"

It is. If you’re going to be snobby enough to sign your name “of Austria”, then you might want to have someone check your missives to the little people.

I think Kathleen wrote it.  Not surprising that her penmanship is rather immature; so few people write pen to paper any more, especially in her age group and younger.

I'm asking this question with all sincerity:  What is an adult's handwriting supposed to look like? Because I am 46 years old and my penmanship is not much better than Kathleen's.

My handwriting is very similar to Kathleen's as well and I'm 11 years older than you. It's a holdover from my Catholic school days and from a time when all of our work from third grade on had to be completed in cursive.

The Korns look put together (is Imre losing his hair btw).  Anyone willing to bet it's another girl? Or a Karl?

I guess another girl.
Imre looks older, but wow Christoph hasn't aged well at all. He looks 40.

Archduke Imre declared of Emperor Karl, 'Politically and historically, he is less well known as he ruled for only two years (1916-1918).'
If only Karl could have ruled a lot longer. He could have achieved so much as Emperor.

Reportedly Katie has given birth to a fourth daughter who is named Cecilia. St. Cecilia is a martyr and is the patron saint of music and musicians.

Katie's sister-in-law Adelaide is also expecting another baby.
