I get that this magazine is mostly a taboid spreading rumours, but we have talked about Vic and Dan being not so close... for over a year.
I'm so sorry to read such things for the two of them and I wish it's nothing serious but I'm afraid where there is smoke, there's fire too.

Found at the website one more article about this. They refer to the last engagement in 2021 where Vic was alone and Dan had a cold.
They say that this was scam by Vic after something revealed about Dan. It’s written like he has an affair or betrayed her. And that he was at Operakällaren with male friends and allegedly talked about things he would want to do without Vic. But not when he was there last week, last month, years ago.
Actually I wouldn’t put a coin on their sources since this is written so vague.

My thoughts on this:
We’ve been also discussing these pics and thought something wasn’t right with Vic and Dan was obviously not with her which definitely made it look weird but with his kidney he needs to be extra careful so I think it’s true he had mild symptoms of a flue and this was an engagement where not just two people attended but a whole room was full of people.
They’ve been together for about 20 years and their relationship went from spending time occasionally together with each of them having their work to being together 24/7 and not only as couple but also as colleagues. Dan seems on of the consorts who does one of the most solo engagements and I think this is not without a reason. First they have with this quite a wide field where they can attend but also have something to tell when they meet in the evening. I guess parenthood changed them too since I believe cause from they upbringing they have different views on things. I can definitely imagine them have vivid arguments cause of their backgrounds but I can also imagine them as people who reconcile afterwards.
Since they were photographed together at Silvias birthday while arriving for the afternoon and dinner and SvenskDam reported they spend Christmas and new year in Ockelbo with Dans family I would say it isn’t too bad and they have engagements together at least at the calendar at the 19.01 and 20.01 which are the only ones for Dan so far and no other press picked up this story until now.
I definitely think Dan is a person that wouldn’t fake anything and in 2021 there were good/lovely moments between them. So probably it isn’t all perfect but I think they’ll fine or I hope cause all in all they make a cute couple.

You're probably thinking of Svensk Damtidning who is run by Sofia's biggest fan, Johan T Lindwall. AFAIK Stoppa pressarna is not associated with Sofia or her friends, but yeah I'd say about 90-95% of what they write is trash, though once in a while they'll have an interesting story. They mostly go after Madeleine and Chris though which is why I'm a bit surprised to see this story from them, but I guess they run out of ways to trash them and had to try a different angle..

I think they just need to sell newspapers. The news have run so many "cute" children stories and Viccan and Dan are at an age where hardly anything exciting happens. Queen and King are hopefully fit enough to be around for a while.

The kids (especially Estelle) are coming to the awkward age where they are no longer cute cute and they are too young (and most likely to well brought up) to create scandal = headlines like the Dutch royal children. Madeleine and Chris are in Sweden, but not much longer and it is old news to trash them. Plus it is hard to trash them: Chris is looking healthier than before, Madde is looking stunning, the kids are cute.

Vic & Dan will attend on Monday evening at an event from the Swedish government celebrating 100 years of democracy. Actually Silvia & CG were planned to attend but cause of the corona infection they can’t. It will be broadcast at SVT and I guess we’ll see if there really is a huge crisis like they wrote.

Marriages do go through ups and downs. They may be at a stage where the kids are young but not super young, and they are all at the is-that-all-there-is-stage.

It’s unfortunate her parents are not and seen never to have been supportive enough of them.

It’s a crucial time to really pay attention to a marriage and not let it drift. Very difficult to do as some ennui may set in.
