In recent times I have noticed there are multiple conversations about a possible beard for WA.
I couldn't find a specific topic about the issue. Therefore I decided to open one over here  Wink

Hahaha! Wonderful pictures Principessa   Laughing Star

Some look quite decent, some just hilarious. On the one above he looks like the king of diamonds in a deck of cards  Laugh bounce

Edited: Now that could be another thread maybe. Which Royals would go on which color in a deck of cards? Wink

It's the beard probably that does it.  Grin Seriously, he needs it - and something needs to be done about that hairstyle. Not sure what though..  Thinking

WA and Jokke of Denmark have similar hair problems. Its too long in the front and they do that 80s feathery side sweep. It makes them look old-fashioned. I think shorter cuts would work better for both.

And for the topic at hand I vote - Beard!  Thumb up

No beard please, he is so handsome without one.  I like the way he looks, very regal and strong with a kind face.  A man with a beard who is handsome is Prince Haakon of Norway. Now that is a man that can wear a beard and it is heavenly.  These two men are the best looking of all the royals.

I'm voting "no beard" as well.
Willem Alexander does have a kind approachable face.

Haakon can perfect the beard, that's true.  Champagne
I don't think it's worth any other Royal man giving him a run for his money.

However, for the sake of this thread, Willem Alexander looks much better in a beard - theatrical, entertaining, funny and strange.  Jumping Laugh bounce  Principessa  Star Star

He has a very kind face, I think, with a sweet expression. But he needs the beard for more "gravitas." Yes

He never had a beard, even when he was younger. So I agree, he should try it once.
