News title - new topic Dutch Princess Beatrix looks at pictures of herself at the exhibition 'Onze Koningin' (Our Queen) at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam on May 7, 2013. The exhibition includes 145 photos of Beatrix as Queen and Princess, all made by Dutch press agency ANP. The exhibition is open untill May 26. https://www.anpfoto.nl/search.pp?eventid=1531206The visitors were asked to vote for their favorite photo of Beatrix and she got that photo framed. This was the chosen one:

I've been catching up on last week's newspapers tonight, saw a small article on 'Queen visits USA' and thought 'Why would The Bee want to go there?' and did the gracious version of this so you're not alone

I've been catching up on last week's newspapers tonight, saw a small article on 'Queen visits USA' and thought 'Why would The Bee want to go there?' and did the gracious version of this so you're not alone For a moment, when I first saw the title of this thread. I thought it was about Princess Beatrice of York. Similar name, just different spelling.

This was the chosen one: Aaaahh, that was one of my favourites! But when my memory doesn't fail on me I had chosen another one at the exhibition. I have visited the exhibition in the beginning of April this year. Nice pictures, which brought a lot of memories and nice thoughts.
