Delphine Boel wants DNA-tests for Filip and Astrid!

Delphine Boel, the out-of-wedlock daughter of king Albert, is going to court to demand prince Filip and princess Astrid have DNA tests so she can prove she is the king's daughter. It's impossible for her to demand a DNA test from her father directly since he enjoys legal immunity. The royal palace in Brussels has confirmed the case but does not want to comment on 'private matters'. Delphine has been looking for official recognition for about ten years now.

The family's refusal to a DNA test just proves the claim IMO. Plus Laurent never diss the claim and is in touch with this woman?

I agree.  I see a huge resemblance between Laurent and Albert.  I know that both Albert and Paola had their fair share of affairs, but the resemblance between Laurent and his father is too strong to deny.  It's interesting that Laurent has been in contact with Delphine.  They probably share the bond of being rejected by their father.

There's nothing lower than fathering a child and then refusing to acknowledge it.   I too hope she gets the DNA tests. 

But why not get Laurent to do it if he would be amenable? 

I think it's well known Albert and Paola did a whole lot of straying.

But why should Laurent and Astrid have to provide DNA for her when they have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not Albert is her father?  ITA that it doesn't put Albert in a very good light if he's refusing to acknowledge her if she is indeed his biological child, but that is not anything to do with Laurent and Astrid.

Because their father is not available for the test and in such cases, the DNA from siblings can be used for a test. IMO, everybody has the right to know who their parents are and a king should not have the possibility to avoid such tests.
