Delphine gave an interview to Paris Match:

https://www.parismatch.co...ir-de-mes-enfants-1659856

In 2012, Delphine and her mother received a message that they were on a list of 'politically exposed persons' which meant that the Royal Bank of Scotland closed their bank accounts.

A while ago, they discovered that her 11-year-old son is also blacklisted and on a list of politically exposed persons. She and her husband tried to open a bank account for him he could learn how to manage his money but it was not possible for them to do so. Delphine is now asking people to not attack her children.

If thatís true, then that is horrific and sleazy.  They are really playing hardball here.

King Albertís appeal to Court of Cassation to be discussed today

https://royalcentral.co.u...-be-decided-today-134067/

Quote
Former King Albert II of Belgiumís appeal against the order to undergo a DNA-test will be discussed today by the Court of Cassation, the main court of last resort in Belgium.

He had been ordered to undergo a DNA-test in order to determine if he is the father of Delphine BoŽl. He took the test in May 2019 after facing a 5,000 euro a day penalty for refusing to take the DNA-test. However, the results have remained a secret until the verdict of the appeal is in.

Delphine BoŽl was ďrelievedĒ after her supposed father decided to finally take a DNA-test in her paternity case.

Delphine was born in 1968 as the daughter of Baroness Sybille de Selys Longchamps and was officially recognised by her motherís husband Jonkheer Jacques BoŽl (of which the English equivalent would be Esquire). The King made a reference to a crisis Ďthirty years agoí in the 1999 Christmas speech but has otherwise remained silent on the subject. Delphine BoŽl has always claimed that it was not about any inheritance, as her legal father is much richer than the King.

In 2013, Delphine summoned King Albert and two of his children, the Duke of Brabant, now King Philippe, and Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este to court in hopes of obtaining DNA for testing purposes. The King enjoyed immunity at the time, but his abdication in July 2013 opened the way for a new procedure. The former King of the Belgians was part of a great deal of Delphineís childhood but has wanted nothing to do with her for the past 20 years. He has also refused to appear in court.

It is looking likely that King Albert will not win his appeal and that the court will order the results of the DNA-test to be made public. The verdict on the appeal is expected on 13 December.

This. I shudder to think what Philip might have become if Fabiola and Baudouin had not stepped in.
