? As I said, Carl Gustaf and Victoria's prenups were published too. Most official documents are public in Sweden, it's an important part of the Swedish constitution. That's why Daniel's report cards, the royals' tax returns etc. have all been published in the papers.

My13, speaking of tax returns, I bet that's an item that the press is frustrated with when it comes to Chris.  His tax returns are private in the USA.  The Swedish press wants to
 to know how much he is worth.

They really want to discover what kind of income steam he has.  If he is not joining the firm, how will he support his self, no visible job possibly means he is receiving a benefit form money that Madde gets from her dad which is viewed as tax money, true or not true who knows.  These two have very negative image in Sweden, Chris should hire a good NYC PR team but that would clash with the palace. 

Their unwillingness to talk to legitimate press, and i am not talking tabloids, adds to the overall drama that is created by the tabloids.

Chris has been working in the finance industry at high income jobs for 16 years. I'll be  very surprised if he doesn't have his own money and he has to live off his wife or his trust fund, if he has a trust fund that is.  Per pre_nup, he and Madde will keep their money separate.  So why will Madde agree to support her husband financially?

That's where I agree with you Americans, I feel income and tax data should be private. I hate it how every year it's advertised in the papers how they will soon again publish everyone's data. It's only fuel for envious people and it shouldn't be anyone's business. All the people don't have the same earnings but why should they? No point in studying and working harder if everyone has the same salary. Please don't take this the wrong way - I do value all work. But you probably do get the point.

I know people want to know how royals spend the money they get as their apanage but that's about as much as anyone needs to know. Official funds are different than someone's salary or tax returns. IMO it's roughly the same as the state publishing everyone's health records, not okay!

My point is the press would like to get more details on Chris finically position, if true as reported by the paper DI he left Noster Capital, the possible question of is he living off Madde so call appendage can be a sink hole for them, more drama for the tabloids, but the pre nup should give the paper a feel on their financial lives

Yes I do love my privacy.......what we have left in this country.  

I not a fan of this couple because they should be able get a  handle on their pr, however I enjoy the blank wall chris put up and frustrates the press because they can not access the public records for what we consider private information which is normally open to the Swedes.   Personally I learned a lot, I thought everyone on the planet had similar laws about taxes and health information.

Not looking for augment , just trying to under the dynamics of this international couple.

  forgot the most important question about the prenup, it only talks about assets, what about the kids in event of a divorce , or the divorce under swedish law because the prenup is written in Sweden.

I guess it depends on if the kids have titles and in line for the throne.

Thanks for the link! Very clever prenup and very logical. I think their PR is just fine, and their "bad PR" is more of Swedish press being a little hurt they can't figure out his worth. 

I also think this might help disprove any speculation that he is living off of her funds. It's been clear from the get-go that he has his own money.

Chris' father was in finance as well & there was money to send him to good schools. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he not only has a trust fund but is savvy enough to have been investing money in various areas that produce income for him.
I'm wondering if that's one of the reasons why he declined a Swedish citizenship. He didn't want his affairs made public for everyone to see.
